Imagine a student who has been accepted to Edison, and who truly needs the specialized education we offer, but is unable to attend because his or her family cannot afford the tuition. It's a heartbreaking scenario, and one we encounter on a more frequent basis than in the past. In response, we created the Gift of Learning Society (GOLS). Funds donated by GOLS members are used primarily to support Edison's financial aid program.

The generous contributors who have joined the Gift of Learning Society have made a five-year pledge of $1,000 or more per year. For the equivalent of just $2.78 a day, you can become a GOLS member and help a student continue his or her education at Thomas A. Edison High School.

Gift of Learning Society members are united by a desire to help students with learning differences develop the academic skills, social skills and self-advocacy necessary to reach their full potential and thrive in adulthood.
