Thomas Edison High School is the regionally recognized high school of choice for students with learning differences and within the next five years, will be financially accessible to all families.

 

We strive to transform lives while providing a comprehensive education. Thomas A. Edison High School empowers students with learning differences with the skills, strategies and supportive environment to reach their academic, social and personal potential.

 

Incorporated in our vision at Thomas A. Edison is:

 

  • To provide an exceptional education through an individualized curriculum and a caring environment
  • To attract, develop and train a strongly committed, highly professional staff that utilizes the best teaching skills and methods available
  • To provide excellent facilities and technologies for effective learning
  • To be accessible to students of all economic, racial and cultural backgrounds

 

  • To extend our reach to as many students with special learning needs as our talent, skills, facilities, technologies and financial recourses will allow

Located in Portland, Oregon, Thomas A. Edison is a private high school dedicated to meeting the special education needs of Learning Disabled (LD) teens. Our students’ learning differences include Dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, Asperger’s Syndrome, Tourette’s Syndrome, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, Visual Perception and Nonverbal Learning Disorders.
