About the Auction and Thomas Edison High School:
Founded in 1973, Thomas Edison High School is named for Thomas Alva Edison inventor and dyslexic. Edison is the only private high school in Oregon specifically designed and dedicated to meeting the needs of students with complex learning disabilities and attention deficit disorders.
Funds raised support financial aid, educational programming, teacher professional development, technology enhancements and other programs for the students that Edison cannot provide through traditonal revenue sources. This year’s event theme was Illuminating the Future. Festivities included cocktails, plated dinner, live and silent auctions.
